The short answer
You do not need to read Arabic to help. Keep a fixed time for practice, listen every day, ask your child to teach you one letter, and talk to the teacher about progress once a month. Your interest matters more than your reading.

Five things any parent can do
- Fix a daily practice time, even five minutes.
- Listen while they read. Do not worry about judging it.
- Ask them to teach you a letter. Children love being the teacher.
- Read the monthly progress report and ask one question.
- Join a class now and then to see how they are doing.
Many parents start learning alongside their children. That is a beautiful thing too.
