Questions About Online Arabic Classes
Do I need to know any Arabic before I start?
No. Level 1 begins with the Arabic alphabet, so absolute beginners of any age can join. If you already read some Arabic, the trial class places you at the right level.
Is this Quranic Arabic or modern Arabic?
The course is built towards Quranic comprehension — the grammar and much of the vocabulary are chosen with that in mind — while still teaching you to hold a conversation. If your goal is purely conversational Modern Standard Arabic, say so in the trial class and the plan is adjusted.
Which books do you teach from?
Madinah Arabic Reader, Al-Kitaab and Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk, along with supplementary material. If you are already working through one of these, your tutor will continue from where you are.
Do you teach Arabic to kids?
Yes. Children start at Level 1 with the alphabet, and because the class is private the tutor sets the pace and the vocabulary to the child rather than to a class average.
Can I learn Arabic and Quran together?
Yes, and many families do. Arabic classes and Quran classes are booked separately so each gets its own time and its own tutor; tell admissions when you book and they will schedule both.
How long does each level take?
Typically 2–3 months for Level 1, 4–6 for Level 2 and 6–9 for Level 3, on two 30-minute classes a week. Private classes mean a faster learner is not held to those.
Can I request a female Arabic teacher?
Yes. Male and female tutors are available, you say which you would prefer when you book, and you can ask to change teacher later at no extra cost.
What happens during the free trial?
You meet a tutor, work through a short piece of Arabic and get a recommended starting level. That is also how you judge whether the tutor suits you.
What happens after I book, and after the trial classes?
Someone from our team messages you on WhatsApp, usually within 24 hours, to agree a class time. No card details are taken. After the trial you can arrange regular classes with a suitable tutor and schedule, or not continue — there is no obligation either way.
How much do regular classes cost?
