The short answer
Many young children wriggle. First check timing and energy: a class after a run-around and a snack goes better. Ask the teacher to break the lesson into short steps with a quick stretch in between. Often a few small changes make a big difference.

Try these
- Let them move before class, not during
- Use a chair where their feet touch the floor
- Ask the teacher for short steps and a quick stretch
- Fewer classes a week, but keep them regular
- Sit near them for the first weeks
Quick questions
Should we stop until they are older?
Sometimes a short break helps very young children. Often a better time and shorter steps fix it.
