In Canadian dollars, five 30-minute lessons a week cost C$79 a month with us, C$82 at LiveQuranLessons and C$115 at TarteeleQuran; eQuranSchool shows US dollars and Itqan Network shows “$” without naming the currency.

Online Quran Learnings (us)
- C$53, C$66, C$74, C$79 a month per child for two to five 30-minute lessons a week; Hifz lessons of 45 or 60 minutes, five a week, are C$114 and C$147. No registration fee and no sibling discount.
- A female supervisor joins every lesson live; you can join any class without telling us, and every lesson is recorded for parents to watch. Every child is tested at the end of each month, and the monthly progress report is based on that test.
- Our teachers are mostly based in Egypt, the UAE, India and Pakistan. We check every teacher’s ID and certificates before they teach, and a female supervisor joins every class. Every Hifz teacher is a hafiz or hafiza: they have memorised the whole Quran themselves. Because our teachers live outside Canada, we do not claim a police check with vulnerable sector screening for them.
- Lessons can be booked at any hour, any day, in your own local time.
- Ask within 5 calendar days of the first paid class for a full refund. After that, attended classes are deducted and the rest is refunded.

TarteeleQuran
Canadian prices of C$52 a month for two lessons a week, C$72 for three and C$115 for five, plus a one-time registration fee it does not publish (fees). It records all classes for quality checks and tests every student each month; no refund once a class has taken place. May suit: families who weigh a long track record and a separate testing team.
Itqan Network
Male and female teachers it describes as Al-Azhar graduates and native Arabic speakers; 30-minute classes at $32 a month for two a week, $45 for three, $60 for four and $89 for five, each with a free trial, and another free trial with a different teacher if you are not satisfied; parents follow progress through monthly reports. The page shows “$” without naming the currency (home page). May suit: families who want Al-Azhar teachers at a low price.
eQuranSchool
One-on-one 30-minute lessons at US$37 a month for two a week to US$74 for five, 20% off the second and later siblings, after a free trial session (fees); its fee page has pound, US-dollar, euro, Australian-dollar and dirham tables but no Canadian one. Parents can sit in and lessons are not recorded (read 2 October 2026). May suit: larger families on a budget.
Riwaq Al Quran
Teachers it describes as Arab and Al-Azhar-certified, teaching in English or Arabic, with hourly pricing from US$10 to US$12 and at least two classes a week; it lists supervised programmes, recorded sessions and progress reports. Its price calculator shows US$7.50 a class by default, the 45-minute price at US$10 an hour, so confirm the lesson length in your quote. Its site asked our browser for a security check on 26 October 2026, so these facts are from our 2 October reading. May suit: families who want Arab teachers and longer lessons.

How to choose an online Quran academy for your child in Canada
- Ask who checks the teacher. A police check with vulnerable sector screening applies to people in Canada; if teachers live abroad, ask what the academy checks instead.
- Ask who else is in the lesson, whether you can join without notice, and whether it is recorded.
- Check whether the price is in Canadian or US dollars, and any registration fee.
- Ask for after-school times in your province’s time, and how slots move when the clocks change (British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba stop changing their clocks from 1 November 2026).
- Read the refund terms before the first payment.
