Quran classes for beginner kids

Can my child learn to read the Quran with no Arabic?

If your child has never read the Quran, or started and stopped, beginner classes start exactly where they are. In the free trial the teacher listens to your child, places them in Noorani Qaida or straight into reading, and builds from there in one-to-one 30-minute lessons. For families in the United States, lessons are set in your own local time (ET, CT, MT, PT, Alaska and Hawaii); after school is usually 4:30–8pm, and we suggest 3 classes a week — $49 a month (about $4.08 a lesson).

  • Placement

In the trial the teacher finds your child’s real starting point.

  • Foundation

Noorani Qaida from the right lesson — not from page one if they do not need it.

  • Same teacher every class

A male or female teacher, your choice, so your child feels at ease and keeps moving forward.

  • Female supervisor in every lesson

She listens to the whole class, so it stays safe, kind and on track.

How long does it take a beginner to read the Quran?

It depends on your child’s age, how many classes a week they take and practice at home. Older beginners can often move faster through the first lessons.

After the first week the teacher gives you an honest estimate. We never promise a date we cannot keep.

Our suggestion: 3 classes a week. Three classes a week rebuilds confidence quickly. Every class is 30 minutes and one-to-one, and the fee is the same for every course and for a male or female teacher.

  • A female supervisor in every class
  • Male or female teacher, same price
  • A progress report every month
  • Every lesson recorded, ask any time

How much do Quran classes for beginner kids cost in the USA?

Plans start at $30 a month. For this course we suggest 3 classes a week — $49 a month (about $4.08 a lesson). Prices are in US dollars. 3 Days Free Trial first, no card.

What time are Quran classes for beginner kids in the USA?

Classes run 24/7, so any time works. A 30-minute slot fits well between 4pm and 8pm in your own time zone after school, or on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Clocks change in March and November in most states (not Arizona or Hawaii). We move your slot with them so the lesson stays at the same local time.

Can my child have a female teacher in the USA?

Yes. Every family in the United States chooses a male or female teacher, and a female supervisor joins every lesson live.

My child is 10 and has never read the Quran. Is it too late?

No. Older beginners often move faster because they concentrate well. One-to-one lessons mean no one else sees them start from the beginning.

My child stopped for a year. Where will they start?

Wherever they really are. In the free trial the teacher listens and starts from the right lesson.

19 more questions
How many classes a week should a beginner take?

Three classes a week works well for most beginners; younger children can start with two.

Do I need to know Arabic to help my child?

No. The teacher does the teaching. Your part is making sure the class happens and, if you can, listening to the short practice.

Is there a test before joining?

No test, just the free trial, where the teacher sees where your child is.

We are on the West Coast. Are after-school classes available?

Yes. Pacific time is usually the easiest American slot to fill: a 4pm class in California is a comfortable hour for our teachers. Eastern time between 5pm and 7pm fills first, so book that one early.

Is an online Quran class safe for my child?

Yes. A female supervisor joins every class live, you can join any lesson without telling us, lessons are recorded, and teachers never contact your child outside class. Every teacher has their ID and certificates checked before teaching.

Can my child learn Quran and Islamic studies in the same class?

Your child can learn Quran and Islamic studies together in the same 30-minute class, or take just one subject. You choose, and the teacher shapes each lesson around your child.

Are the classes live or recorded?

Live, always. Your child reads with a real teacher on a video call, never a recorded course. Lessons are also recorded, so you can ask for the recording any time.

Who is in my child’s class?

Your child, the teacher and a female supervisor who listens to the whole lesson. You are welcome to join too, any time.

Can I sit in on my child’s class?

Yes. You can join any class live, without telling us first.

How do you choose your teachers?

Every teacher passes four checks before a first student: ID verified, Quran and Tajweed certificates checked, an interview and a demo class our team watches, then training in how we teach children.

Can I change my child’s teacher?

Yes, at any time. Just ask. You do not need to give a reason.

Can the teacher contact my child?

No. Teachers never message a child outside class. Every message goes through our team to you.

What language do teachers explain in?

English or Urdu, so your child understands every correction. The reading itself is always in Arabic.

What do we need for a class?

A laptop, tablet or phone, a steady internet connection and headphones with a mic. A quiet spot at a table helps.

Can we move a class to another time?

Yes. Message us on WhatsApp as early as you can and we will find another time, with the same teacher where possible.

What if my child needs to miss a class?

Tell us before the class. You can then have a make-up class or the fee adjusted next month. Classes missed without telling us cannot be made up.

Is the free trial really free?

Yes. 3 Days Free Trial with no card and no obligation. You only pay if you decide to continue.

What is your refund policy?

Ask within 5 calendar days of the first paid class for a full refund. After that, we charge only for the classes your child attended and return the rest.

What if we want to stop?

The trial has no obligation. After that, ask within 5 calendar days of the first paid class for a full refund. After that, attended classes are deducted and the rest is refunded.
