Online Quran Learnings is a part-time online Islamic school for children aged 4 to 14: live one-to-one lessons of 30 minutes in Quran and Islamic studies, up to five times a week, alongside your child’s regular school. Children learn the kalimas, wudu and salah, everyday duas, short hadith, the stories of the prophets, the seerah and good manners, level by level, and can learn Quran in the same class.
It is not a full-time or accredited school and does not teach school subjects: it runs alongside your child’s school, after school, in the evening or at the weekend. Every child is tested at the end of each month, with a progress report based on the test. Fees start at $30 a month, Islamic studies costs nothing extra, and there is a free trial of up to 3 days with no card.

Islamic studies runs in four levels from about age 5, taken from the Islamic Studies Grade 1 to 4 books we teach from, then deeper lessons for older children. Four-year-olds learn duas, the basics and stories, and a beginner of any age starts with our beginners syllabus. The teacher starts where your child is, not where their age says.
| Level and age | Focus | Some of the topics |
|---|---|---|
| First stepsAge 4 | Duas, the basics and stories | Short everyday duas · the basics of Islam · stories told at their age |
| Level 1About 5 to 6 | Who Allah is, and good manners every day | Allah is One, the Creator, All-Hearing · Iman, the angels, the books and the messengers · Bismillah and the five pillars · The masjid, the adhan and wudu · The five daily prayers |
| Level 2About 6 to 7 | Prayer, honesty and the pillars | Allah the Creator, All-Knowing, All-Seeing · The angels, the books and the prophets · Cleanliness (istinjaa) and wudu · The five prayers, the adhan and the tashahhud · Truthfulness, and why lying and stealing are wrong |
| Level 3About 7 to 8 | Worship in more detail, and the prophets | The adhan and the iqamah · Salah, zakah, fasting and Hajj · Purity, clean water and how to do wudu properly · No lying, gossip or backbiting · Prophets Adam, Ibrahim, Isma’il and Ishaq |
| Level 4About 8 to 10 | Understanding salah and the Quran | Allah’s names Ar-Rahman and Ar-Raheem · Surah Al-Fatihah and why it is special · The conditions, pillars and sunnah acts of salah · Remembering Allah after salah · Ramadan, Eid ul Fitr, Hajj and Eid ul Adha |

Answer the two questions and we will suggest a course and how many classes a week.
Belief, worship, duas, hadith, the prophets and the seerah, and manners: the subjects of a madrasah, taught one-to-one. Each topic is told with a story or example and practised out loud, with one small thing to try at home each week.
Allah is One, the pillars of Iman and Islam, and the six kalimas from our own book, each with its meaning.
The adhan and how to reply to it, wudu step by step, salah step by step for boys and girls, how many rakat in each prayer, and later the Eid and Janazah prayers.
Duas for waking, sleeping, eating and leaving home, the duas inside salah, and simple dhikr.
Short hadith learned by heart, with what each one means for daily life, from our lists of 20 short hadith for kids and 60 golden hadith on manners and kindness.
Stories of the prophets from Adam to Isa, then the life of the Prophet ﷺ in two seerah books, from the Year of the Elephant to the Hijrah and the arrival in Madinah.
Honesty, kindness, respect for parents and neighbours, and the manners of eating, sleeping and greeting.
You choose the number of lessons and the times; classes run 24/7 in your own time zone. Your child can learn Quran and Islamic studies together in the same 30-minute class, or take just one subject. You choose, and the teacher shapes each lesson around your child.
No lesson: Tue, Thu, Sat
An example only. Weekend lessons work too; we agree your times on WhatsApp.
No lesson: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun
An example only. Every lesson is 30 minutes, one-to-one, and the fee depends on lessons a week, not the subject.
“Online Islamic school” means two different things, so check which one you need before you compare. Full-time online schools replace your child’s normal school. Part-time schools like ours teach Quran and Islamic studies alongside it.
Part-time (Online Quran Learnings)
A full-time online school
If your child goes to school already and you want Quran and Islamic studies on top, you want a part-time school.

A teacher of your choice, male or female, checked before they teach. Our teachers are mostly based in Egypt, the UAE, India and Pakistan. We check every teacher’s ID and certificates before they teach, and a female supervisor joins every class.
Every child is tested at the end of each month, and the monthly progress report is based on that test. The report shows the topics covered and what to practise at home. The full rules are on our child safety page.
One monthly fee for one child, set by the number of lessons a week, the same for every subject. Islamic studies on its own or with Quran costs nothing extra, there is no registration fee, and the fee is the same for a male or female teacher.
