Live one-to-one classes
A complete Hifz program, one-to-one: your child memorises with a hafiz or hafiza, usually five days a week in 30, 45 or 60-minute lessons, with sabaq, sabqi and manzil in every lesson and a female supervisor listening to every class.

Online Quran Learnings runs a full online Hifz program for children aged about 6 to 16: live one-to-one lessons, usually five a week, with a hafiz or hafiza who listens to every line. Lessons are 30, 45 or 60 minutes, and each follows the madrasah rhythm of manzil (older revision), sabqi (recent revision) and sabaq (the new lines). Most children start with Juz Amma, a female supervisor listens to every class, and every child is tested at the end of each month, with a progress report based on that test.
Five 30-minute lessons a week cost $59 a month; longer 45- and 60-minute Hifz lessons are offered too, with fees for every country below. The fee is the same for a male or female teacher, with no registration fee. The free trial of up to 3 days needs no card: the teacher hears your child read, checks they are ready, and suggests how many new lines and which lesson length to start with.

In four stages: a reading check, Juz Amma, the rest of the Quran juz by juz, and then keeping it. Revision runs through every stage, so what your child memorised in the first month is still being heard in the last.
Already memorised part of the Quran with another teacher or at a madrasah? Your child recites what they know in the trial, and the teacher starts from there. Our guide to switching Quran academy covers the rest.
Your child recites to the teacher, in the same order every day, and leaves knowing exactly what to memorise for tomorrow. The teacher listens to every line and corrects mistakes on the spot, before they set.
Lessons are 30, 45 or 60 minutes, five days a week. Longer lessons give the teacher more time to hear revision as the memorised part grows; in the free trial the teacher suggests a length for your child.
Your child recites a set slice of older revision, so earlier surahs and juz keep coming round.
The recent portion, the last few days or weeks, until it no longer needs the page.
The new lines memorised since the last class, said from memory.
The next lines are read together with Tajweed corrections, so your child memorises them correctly at home.
More on revision, and what the teacher listens for: Quran memorization with murajaah.
A few new lines a day for most children, and about 3 to 5 years for the whole Quran with steady daily lessons. We do not promise a finishing date: the teacher sets the amount after hearing your child and reviews the pace with you every month.
| Age | New lines a day (sabaq) | Revised the same day |
|---|---|---|
| 5 to 6 | 1 or 2 lines, or one short ayah | Yesterday’s lines and one short surah |
| 7 to 9 | 2 to 5 lines | The last few days, and a few older surahs |
| 10 to 12 | 5 lines to half a page | The last week, and part of an older juz |
| 13 and up | Half a page to a page | The last week, and a full older juz in rotation |
| New lines a day | Juz Amma | The whole Quran |
|---|---|---|
| 3 lines | About 5 months | About 11½ years |
| 5 lines | About 3 months | About 7 years |
| 8 lines (about half a page) | About 2 months | A little over 4 years |
| 15 lines (one page) | About 5 weeks | A little over 2 years |
Five short live classes on school days, a little memorising at home each day, and a light weekend. Classes run 24/7, so the lesson can sit after school, after Maghrib or at the weekend, in your own time zone.
An example only. Some families prefer weekend classes; we agree your times on WhatsApp.
At home, give your child 15 to 20 minutes a day to memorise the next sabaq and, if you can, listen to them recite it once before class. In exam weeks, tell the teacher early so the plan can bend rather than stop: Quran classes during exams.
A child is ready when they read the Quran fluently and correctly, can keep a short daily routine, and want to memorise. Age matters less than these three; children often start between 6 and 10.
Not there yet? Waiting a few months is not falling behind. Firm up reading with Quran with Tajweed or start the short surahs with Juz Amma memorization. More signs to look for: is my child ready for Hifz?
The teacher checks your child’s reading, hears any surahs they already know and suggests a starting sabaq. Up to 3 Days Free Trial, no card needed.
A hafiz or hafiza of your choice, male or female, checked before they teach. Every Hifz teacher is a hafiz or hafiza: they have memorised the whole Quran themselves. Our teachers are mostly based in Egypt, the UAE, India and Pakistan. We check every teacher’s ID and certificates before they teach, and a female supervisor joins every class.
Every teacher has their ID and Quran and Tajweed certificates checked, an interview and a demo class our team watches, and training before a first student. The full rules are on our child safety page.
One monthly fee for one child, set by the number of lessons a week. It is the same for a male or female teacher, there is no registration fee, and any class missed on our side is refunded or taken off next month’s fee.

Both can work; the difference is how much one teacher hears your child, and how the class fits around school. Online suits families with no Hifz class nearby, or whose local class cannot hear each child every day.

If your child needs to be heard every day and the timetable has to fit school, one-to-one online is easier to keep up.

Most children start once they read the Quran fluently, often between 6 and 10. Some start earlier with short surahs. The teacher checks readiness in the free trial.
Most children take about 3 to 5 years for the whole Quran with steady daily lessons; some take less and some more. We do not promise a finishing date: the teacher reviews the pace with you every month.
Five 30-minute classes a week is the usual pace, because memorisation needs daily recitation to a teacher. Children doing Juz Amma can start with three or four.
Yes. Hifz lessons can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes, five days a week: US$59, US$85 and US$110 a month in US dollars, with fees in pounds, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand dollars and dirhams above. For many children a focused 30-minute class plus 15 to 20 minutes of memorising at home works well; the teacher suggests a length in the trial.
Five 30-minute lessons a week cost $59 a month for one child, and 45- and 60-minute Hifz lessons cost more (fees by country). The fee is the same for a male or female teacher, with no registration fee.
