Arabic classes for kids

What do kids learn in online Arabic classes?

Online Arabic classes for kids teach children to read, write and understand Arabic in live one-to-one lessons. Young learners start with letters and everyday words such as colours, numbers and family; older children build sentences and learn the Arabic words that appear most often in the Quran. For families in Canada, lessons are set in your own local time (Pacific to Newfoundland, all six zones); after school is usually 3:30–7pm, and we suggest 3 classes a week — C$66 a month (about C$5.50 a lesson).

  • Letters and writing

Reading and writing each letter, and joining them into words.

  • Everyday words

Colours, numbers, family, home, school and food.

  • Same teacher every class

A male or female teacher, your choice, so your child feels at ease and keeps moving forward.

  • Female supervisor in every lesson

She listens to the whole class, so it stays safe, kind and on track.

How long does it take a child to learn Arabic?

A language grows with every lesson, so there is no single finishing point. Children who come to class regularly and use their new words at home move faster.

The teacher gives you an honest picture after the first week, and your monthly report shows what your child can now read and understand.

Our suggestion: 3 classes a week. Three classes a week builds vocabulary steadily without overload. Every class is 30 minutes and one-to-one, and the fee is the same for every course and for a male or female teacher.

How much do Arabic classes for kids cost in Canada?

Plans start at C$53 a month. For this course we suggest 3 classes a week — C$66 a month (about C$5.50 a lesson). Prices are in Canadian dollars. 3 Days Free Trial first, no card.

What time are Arabic classes for kids in Canada?

Classes run 24/7, so any time works. A 30-minute slot fits well between 4pm and 8pm in your own zone after school, or a weekend morning. Saskatchewan does not change its clocks and Newfoundland is half an hour ahead of Atlantic time; we confirm your slot in your own province.

Can my child have a female teacher in Canada?

Yes. Every family in Canada chooses a male or female teacher, and a female supervisor joins every lesson live.

Can a child learn Arabic online?

Yes. One-to-one video lessons with pictures, writing on screen and speaking practice work well for children, and the teacher adjusts to their pace.

Is this Quranic Arabic or spoken Arabic?

Children start with Modern Standard Arabic, which is the language of the Quran in its grammar and vocabulary, and focus on words from the Quran and salah as they progress.

19 more questions
Does my child need to read the Quran first?

No. Arabic classes start with the letters, so they also support children who are learning to read the Quran.

What age is best to start Arabic?

Children can start from about age 5. Younger children pick up sounds and words quickly; older children progress faster in grammar.

Can my child combine Arabic with Quran classes?

Yes. Many families split their weekly classes between Quran reading and Arabic with the same teacher.

Our 5pm class lands after Maghrib in December. Can we move it?

Yes. Maghrib comes before 5pm across much of southern Canada in December, so many families move to an earlier weekday slot or to weekend mornings for winter, then move back in spring.

Is an online Quran class safe for my child?

Yes. A female supervisor joins every class live, you can join any lesson without telling us, lessons are recorded, and teachers never contact your child outside class. Every teacher has their ID and certificates checked before teaching.

Are the classes live or recorded?

Live, always. Your child reads with a real teacher on a video call, never a recorded course. Lessons are also recorded, so you can ask for the recording any time.

Who is in my child’s class?

Your child, the teacher and a female supervisor who listens to the whole lesson. You are welcome to join too, any time.

Can I sit in on my child’s class?

Yes. You can join any class live, without telling us first.

How do you choose your teachers?

Every teacher passes four checks before a first student: ID verified, Quran and Tajweed certificates checked, an interview and a demo class our team watches, then training in how we teach children.

Can I change my child’s teacher?

Yes, at any time. Just ask. You do not need to give a reason.

Can the teacher contact my child?

No. Teachers never message a child outside class. Every message goes through our team to you.

What language do teachers explain in?

English or Urdu, so your child understands every correction. The reading itself is always in Arabic.

What do we need for a class?

A laptop, tablet or phone, a steady internet connection and headphones with a mic. A quiet spot at a table helps.

How many classes a week can my child have?

From one to five a week. Three or four suit most children; five suits Hifz.

Can we move a class to another time?

Yes. Message us on WhatsApp as early as you can and we will find another time, with the same teacher where possible.

What if my child needs to miss a class?

Tell us before the class. You can then have a make-up class or the fee adjusted next month. Classes missed without telling us cannot be made up.

Is the free trial really free?

Yes. 3 Days Free Trial with no card and no obligation. You only pay if you decide to continue.

What is your refund policy?

Ask within 5 calendar days of the first paid class for a full refund. After that, we charge only for the classes your child attended and return the rest.

What if we want to stop?

The trial has no obligation. After that, ask within 5 calendar days of the first paid class for a full refund. After that, attended classes are deducted and the rest is refunded.
