The short answer
A typical online Hifz week for a child is five live one-to-one classes, Monday to Friday, where the teacher hears new lines and revision. At home the child spends a little time each day going over the next lines and older pages. The weekend is for light revision or rest.

A sample week
| Day | In class (30 min) | At home |
|---|---|---|
| Mon to Fri | Recite yesterday’s new lines, then revision | 10 to 20 minutes on the next lines |
| Saturday | No class | Light revision of the week |
| Sunday | No class | Rest, or listen to a reciter |
Your plan can be different. Some families prefer weekend classes. Classes run 24/7, so you can choose.
Keeping it going
- Fix one time for home practice, like after Maghrib.
- Keep the Quran in the same place.
- Tell the teacher early if school gets busy, so the plan can bend, not break.
Quick questions
Is 30 minutes enough for Hifz?
For most children, a focused 30-minute class five days a week, plus a little home practice, works well.
