    ONLINE QURAN CLASSES FOR BEGINNERS

Learn to Read the Quran From Wherever You Are Now

This course picks up where the Noorani Qaida ends. The learner already recognises the Arabic letters and can read simple words — from here it is about reading real verses fluently, then reading them with correct Tajweed.

Because every class is one-to-one, an absolute beginner and someone half-way through their first juz can both be taught properly. Nobody waits for a group, and nobody is asked to read faster than they can read correctly.
    • Four stages: fluent reading, Nazra with Tajweed, the last eight surahs, daily practice
    • Tajweed taught for beginners from the reading stage, not saved for later
    • Male and female tutors teaching in English, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi and Pushto
    • Suitable for children, adults, reverts and parents learning alongside their child

    WHAT A BEGINNER LEARNS

Six Things Every Beginner Has to Get Right

Each one is taught out loud with the tutor listening, because reading the Quran is a skill you can only be corrected on while you are doing it.

    01

    Letters in Real Words

Moving from letters in isolation to letters inside Quranic words, in the script as it is actually printed in the mushaf.

    02

    Reading Fluently

Listening, imitating, spelling out the word, then reading it at a natural pace — the step that turns decoding into reading.

    03

    Tajweed for Beginners

Ghunnah, qalqalah and the articulation points introduced while you read, so the rules attach to real verses rather than to a list.

    04

    Dividing the Verse

Where a verse breaks into sentences, where to breathe, and where stopping would change the meaning.

    05

    The Last Eight Surahs

Short surahs memorised carefully and revised, so the first thing a learner memorises is also the thing they recite most.

    06

    Salah and Daily Duas

The complete Namaz and fifteen daily supplications, so what is learned in class is used the same day.

Not sure whether you count as a beginner? The trial class is where the tutor finds out — no credit card required.

    BEGINNERS CURRICULUM

Four Stages, From First Verse to Correct Tajweed

The learner starts at the stage their reading actually needs. The free trial class is where that is decided, not a form.

01 Reading the Quran FluentlyStage 1 · for post-Qaida beginners
    • Listen to the tutor and imitate the sound before reading it alone
    • Spell the word out, then read it at a natural pace
    • Recognise the letter shapes as they are printed in the mushaf
    • Build confidence reading directly from the Mus’haf
02 Complete Quran Nazra With TajweedStage 2 · for students already reading fluently
    • The rules of ghunnah and qalqalah, applied while reading
    • The articulation points (Makharij) of the letters
    • Dividing a verse into sentences and breathing in the right place
    • Correct pronunciation and steady fluency across a full Nazra
03 Memorising the Last Eight SurahsStage 3 · for students reciting with Tajweed
    • Memorise the last eight short surahs, one at a time
    • Careful repetition rather than volume
    • Ongoing revision so what is memorised stays memorised
    • Recite them correctly, not only accurately
04 Daily Practice — Namaz and DuasStage 4 · putting it to use every day
    • The complete Namaz, said correctly
    • Fifteen daily supplications with their meaning
    • Using what was learned the same day it was learned
    • A routine the family can keep after the course
    WHY CHOOSE ONLINE QURAN LEARNINGS

Built for People Starting Out, Not for a Class Average

Most beginners stop for one of three reasons: the pace was set by somebody else, the mistakes were never corrected, or the class time did not survive a normal week. Private classes answer all three.

    Private One-to-One

One learner, one tutor. A group class cannot correct a sound it never hears clearly.

    Male & Female Tutors

Choose the tutor the learner is comfortable with, and change later at no extra cost.

    Flexible Scheduling

Classes seven days a week, in your own time zone, around school, work and family routines.

    No Language Barrier

Tutors teach in English, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi and Pushto, which matters most at the beginner stage.

    Correction, Not Repetition

A stage is finished when the learner reads it correctly, not when the page has been read enough times.

    Up to 3 Free Classes

Hear the tutor and the method before deciding whether to enrol. No card, no obligation.

    FOR DIFFERENT LEARNERS

Quran Classes for Beginners — Kids & Adults

The four stages are the same. The pace, the explanation and the length of each drill are not.

    BEGINNER CLASSES FOR KIDS

Short Lessons a Child Will Come Back To

Children hold attention for minutes, not hours. Each class introduces a little, reads it aloud and ends before it becomes a chore.

    • A patient tutor at the child’s own pace
    • Parents can watch live or replay the class
    • Class times that fit around school

    BEGINNER CLASSES FOR ADULTS

    Start Again Without an Audience

Plenty of adults read a little, stopped years ago, and would rather not begin again in a room full of people. A private class removes that entirely.

    • Begin at whatever stage your reading needs
    • Evening and weekend class times
    • Reverts welcome — tutors teach in five languages
    • No group, no waiting turn, no audience

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions About Online Quran Classes for Beginners

Where does an absolute beginner start?

With the letters. If the learner cannot yet recognise and read the Arabic letters, the right starting point is our Noorani Qaida course, and this course picks up where that ends. If they can already read simple words, they start here at stage one.

Is any prior knowledge of Arabic required?

This course assumes the learner can recognise the Arabic letters and read basic words — the level a Qaida leaves you at. You do not need to speak or understand Arabic, and the tutor teaches in English, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi or Pushto.

Do beginners learn Tajweed, or does that come later?

Tajweed starts in the reading stage and is the whole of stage two. Ghunnah, qalqalah and the articulation points are introduced while the learner reads real verses, because a rule practised only as theory does not survive contact with the mushaf.

What age groups do you teach?

Children and adults both. Because every class is private, the tutor adapts the pace, the explanations and the amount of practice to the learner rather than to a class average.

Can I request a female Quran teacher?

Yes. Male and female Quran teachers are available, you say which you would prefer when you book, and you can ask to change teacher later at no extra cost.

What technology do I need to learn Quran online?

A computer, laptop or tablet with a stable internet connection, a microphone and a webcam. Classes run on Google Meet.

What happens during the free trial?

The learner meets a tutor, reads a short passage and receives live correction. That is what determines the right starting stage and whether the tutor is a good fit.

What happens after I book, and after the trial classes?

Someone from our team messages you on WhatsApp, usually within 24 hours, to agree a class time. No card details are taken. After the trial you can arrange regular classes with a suitable tutor and schedule, or not continue — there is no obligation either way.

How much do regular classes cost?

Plans start at $39 a month for two 30-minute one-to-one classes a week, and the same prices apply in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Full fee terms are on our fee & schedule page and the refund window is set out in our refund policy.

How will I know the learner is making progress?

Classes are supervised and recorded, you get login details for our app where you can watch a class live or replay a past one, and you receive a written progress report every month.
